HALEE BALDWIN Obituary
born January 27, 1923, died peacefully at home, November 1, 2017. A lifelong Manhattanite and Fire Islander, graduate of The Fieldston School and the University of Rochester, she was a dedicated nursery school teacher and director. She was the devoted wife of the late David S. Baldwin, MD; proud mother of Neil (Roberta), Andrew (Susan), Daniel (Nancy) and James; grandmother of Nicholas (Anne), Allegra (Richard), Seth, Laura, Matthew (Shelly), Joshua (Gabrielle), and Julia; and great-grandmother of Levi, August, Shepard, Hartley, Emily, and Zoe. We mourn the passing of our beloved and vivacious matriarch. Funeral services private.

As a member of stephen wise synagogue, we used to look forward to seeing Halley and David at high holiday services. As the mother of one of our dearest friends, we felt a strong bond. As well, I knew of Hallee's life as a performer in synagogue musicals, and shared that connection. Her life was long and full, and she's survived by an extraordinary family.
