Mary Sutton Obituary

Mrs. Mary Ella Sutton, 66, peacefully passed away Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, in the Lakeland Villa Convalescent Center, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sutton was born March 14, 1942, to the late Lula Stalvey in Waldo, Fla. Charles and Mary Sutton were wed on Dec. 24, 1959. Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, and a sister, Betty Ruth Morgan. She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Margaret (John) Stone, Beth (Buck) Stone, Charlene Sutton, Betty Jo (Jason) Delk, and Kim (Bobby) Pittman; nine grandchildren, Christie, Eric, Daniel (Victoria), Charles (Ruthie), C.J., Victoria, Dylan, Kylee, and Hunter; five great-grandchildren and her adopted brothers and sisters in faith, the Lakeland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.Services for Mrs. Sutton will be Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at 3 p.m., from the Roundtree Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. James Parker.Internment will be in the North Cemetery, DuPont, Ga.Active pallbearers will be Mrs. Sutton’s sons-in-laws and Willard C. Noles, and Steve Bargaron.Honorary pallbearers are the Lakeland Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Edward Royals, and the staff of Lakeland Villa Nursing Home.The family will receive friends from the funeral home, Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, from 6-8 p.m.Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.roundtreefuneralhome.net — Roundtree Funeral Home, Homerville
