He made you believe in yourself because he believed in you. It was an honor to meet him. AMDA NY Student, 2014-15

Harry had such a huge impact on me as a student at AMDA that after touring for several years I returned and applied to teach there. I hoped for the opportunity to spend more time with him, to learn more from him. I was over the moon when I found out he was going to train me 1:1 to teach his theatre dance classes. I am so grateful for my 2 years as his student and 6 years teaching for him. I kept in touch after I moved away and was able to visit him in the hospital before he died. He was an incredible teacher and an incredible human being, with great wisdom and generosity, and high expectations for all of us to achieve greatly. Thank you, Harry, for everything. I hope you're dancing with Hanya and all your friends.

I studied under him at AMDA. I was new to dance but he would use me to demonstrate to the class and he made me feel like a Prima ballerina! He was the best.

This kind, beautiful man made this actor/singer, 19 year old novice, believe she could dance. He not only taught me technique he gave me confidence. Enough to power me through a 40 year career on stage. And in honor of this unparalleled gift, I dance for him today. AMDA gave me Harry and I will always treasure him. Rest in power, dear Harry.

Harry was my dance teacher at AMDA in the early 1970s. He was amazing and I never forgot him! I was recently going through my huge record collection and found an album entitled "Jazz Dancing". There was handsome, young Harry Wollever...front and center on the cover! I would love to give this album to one of his family members, if they would like to have it. May he rest in peace...and dance all over Heaven!
