HEIDRUN MOHR-MAYER Obituary

MOHR-MAYER--Heidrun. March 5, 1941, Free City of Danzig, Germany October 14, 2014 Baden-Baden, Germany. Mrs. Mohr Mayer was a German jeweller best known for reviving the international jewelry brand Faberge. She was a CEO of the German jewelry company Victor Mayer from 1990 to 2001 and was a co-founder and supporter of several cultural institutions. Together with her husband and co-owner of the family jewelry business she established the first contemporary Faberge collection in 1990 which was presented in Munich to the public. The Faberge jewelry license was given to the Victor Mayer Company by Unilever until 2004 when it was sold to another company. Heidrun Mohr-Mayer died in a hospital in Baden-Baden after losing the battle with cancer. Her close family members were present at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband Dr. Herbert Mohr-Mayer and their sons, Dr Marcus Mohr, Dr. Daniel Mohr and Dipl-Ing Philipp Mohr with their families. Over four hundred people attended the funeral in Pforzheim, Germany on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
