HELEN HELLER Obituary

HELLER--Helen Caplin Bloom, died Sunday after a full life dedicated to service for her community, her city, her beliefs and especially her family. She was a part of the Mayor's Commission on the Status of Women, Chair of the Brooklyn Coalition of the Equal Rights Amendment, Executive Director of United Parents Association, President of the League of Women Voters of the City of New York and Executive Director of the National Council of Jewish Women, New York Section. She was the loving wife of Arnold M. Heller, the adored sister of Nancy and Ben Greenberg, phenomenal mother of Sig, (Jan Shaw), Joan (Dan Edwards) and Ann (Len Levine), grandmother of Nathaniel (Suzie), Matthew (Emily), Stephen and Alex Edwards, Sophie and Max Levine and great-grand- mother of Jane, Wyatt, Scarlett and Annabelle Edwards, terrific and supportive Aunt to her many nieces and nephews and their children. Donations in her honor may be made to the League of Women Voters of the City of New York or Hunger Program - NCJW NY Section.
