30 years ago I worked through his textbook on QC. It was not only my introduction to the field of theoretical chemistry but also the first most important step into the world of my later profession. I often wondered who is the person behind this name. I am deeply grateful to him for his contribution to the scientfic world and wished I had known more about him when he was still alive. May his sould rest in peace.

He was one of the best physical chemist in the world. I learned many things by reading his interesting textbooks. God bless him.

Today on dinner I was thinking that if I have to elect the most important book I have ever read it would be Quantum Chemistry by Levine. Well, I was a Biochemistry student, trying to introduce myself to quantum chemistry. Finally, I found the book and I moved to Theoretical Chemistry.

One of the greatest Professors I have ever had. Was so caring and dedicated. He got me to fall in love with chemistry, which I ended up majoring in. He taught me general chemistry 1 and physical chemistry. Thanks to him and his recommendation letter I am currently in my third year of medical school and loving it.
May his soul rest in piece and may his family find comfort!
