Irving Schiller Obituary

SCHILLER--Irving, on Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Beloved husband of Dr. Patricia Schiller. Father of Louise Schiller and Jonathan Schiller. Grandfather of Zachary, Joshua, Aaron, Will and Isaac. Judge Schiller worked his entire professional career in public service. Working more than 40 years with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC where he was an enforcement attorney and an administrative law judge. He was a man of faith and was a founding member of Temple Sinai in Washington, DC. He served as Temple president from 1962 to 1963. He had a constant and delightful sense of humor. He loved spending summer holidays with his family on Martha's Vineyard where he built a summer home in 1952. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Funeral service will be held at Temple Sinai, 3100 Military Rd. NW, Washington, DC on Sunday, August 26th at 10:30 am. Interment King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Legal Aid Society.
