Doc was an insightful and loving man who never hesitated to offer advice, mow the lawn, read from the Book of Virtues, watch Yankees games, teach tennis and in general ensure that my stays at his/Grandmother's sprawling, lovely home in Stamford were carefree and fun. You're in my thoughts a lot, and will continue to be so, Doc. I love you. John (one of Sarah's sons)

Sending my sincere condolences and prayers during this difficult time for you and your family. I remember Dr. Currin as such an intelligent and friendly man as I came for piano lessons throughout my childhood.

Sharing my condolences and prayers with the Currin family during this challenging time. I remember Dr Currin as a very calming, smart, and kind man when I went to your home for piano lessons as a child. He did not shy away from interrupting our lessons to tell Mrs Currin something important. Mrs Currin always shared with me the thoughtful advice and insights he had. He will be missed.

My only Uncle is gone. He is the smartest man I ever met. I will forever cherish our conversations, his comments on my comments on websites and enjoying cocktail's with him. Rest in peace dear Uncle Jim.
