JAMES LOTT Obituary

LOTT--James David, Jr. David Lott, 59, of Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully on July 10 following a long illness. He is survived by wife Jennifer Gillis, daughter Eleanor Gillis Lott, and son James David Lott III. A 1985 graduate of the University of Virginia, David pursued a 35- year career in publishing, and at his death was Senior Managing Editor at Macmillan in New York. Dear Lott Family,

The time that you allowed me to be your babysitter, allowed me to see what a supportive family looked like. James & Ellie, I know you both will continue to honor your dads memory by following your path. Jennie, your relationship with David taught this girl from a divorced home what a loving marriage looked like. I am so sorry for all your losses.
