VISTA Staffing had the great pleasure of working with Dr. Soble following his retirement from full time practice. He worked with VISTA Staffing providing temporary/locum tenens family medicine coverage from 2005 through 2010. Dr. Soble had a great passion for medicine and a clear and elevating goal in wanting to continue to maintain his clinical skills while “giving back.” He was very specific in his desire to work in underserved areas and treating patients who were truly in need of medical care. He traveled with VISTA to a wide range of practice locations providing quality healthcare coverage in a variety of practice settings including many Indian Health Care Facilities, VA Medical Centers and Community Health Clinics for the next 5 years. He always made a great impression, connecting easily with his patients, the staff and many colleagues he worked with. He adapted easily – gracefully and consistently to the practices and patients he served, receiving the highest evaluations, praise and many, many invitations to stay, extend, or return. He touched many - and truly made a difference!

As Dr. Sobel’s initial contact with VISTA, I always felt proud he chose VISTA to partner with us for the next phase of his career. He was loved by his VISTA team and the individuals who had the good fortune of getting to know him and work with him on a personal level. He will always be remembered and easily recognized as “one of the best; one in a million; a kind, warm, caring, compassionate and wonderful person – all this on top of his impressive credentials, accomplishments and contributions in medicine.
It is clear that he found joy in his life; and, no question that he brought joy to others!
We miss him dearly!
