JANE EMERSON Obituary

EMERSON--Jane Grumbach, 64, died on August 10 in New York City. For most of her life, she worked as an event planner for cultural and charitable organizations, including the New York City Ballet, the American Ballet Theater, God's Love We Deliver, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her mother, Doris Grumbach; her sisters, Barbara Wheeler, Elizabeth Cale, and Kathryn Grumbach; and nieces and nephews. A memorial event will be held in the fall. Memorial gifts may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation www.bcrfcure.org.
