I was deeply saddened to learn of Jean's death. She was a charming, intelligent, committed woman who was a strong supporter of me, as CEO of the YWCA and the YW as a whole. She cared deeply about women's issues. She will be missed. Rae Linefsky

Jean was one of the original members of our New York film discussion group and her contributions to the group were always intelligent and thoughtful. I now live on the west coast so I can't attend the memorial service but I send my best wishes to her family especially her granddaughter who she always spoke of with love and pride.
