Marsha, Ross and Scott: My heartfelt sympathies to you and the rest of the Kaplan family. I hope that during this difficult time you can find comfort in your delightful memories of Jeff. My own relationship with him began about 35 years ago when we were associates together at Robinson Silverman (Ross, I remember when your mother first brought you to the office when you were just a few months old). We remained friends throughout the years when he was outside counsel for Bed Bath & Beyond.

Jeff was kind, witty and very smart. During our many "non-work" conversations, he always took tremendous pride in each of you and felt very blessed to have such a wonderful extended family. We will all miss him.

I really enjoyed working with Jeffrey. A true mensch, a great sense of humor and smart as a whip. I will miss him so much; may his memory be for a blessing.
