I just learned of Jerry's passing. I want to send my Sincere condolences to his Family, Friends, and co-workers. He was my neighbor in Westhampton Beach for years. He was very kind to me & my husband who i lost in June. I would spend extended times listening to Jerry tell stories of all his Important Acquaintances and his life experiances. He shared with me the hundreds of photos that documented these amazing expriances. He always spoke so lovenly of his children & sister! He loved his family dearly. He was devoted to his publications! They were filled with Great stories and information. I pray that his vast photo archives will be donated to Someplace that future generations will be able to appreciate the Amazing life he led! Always battling a deadline. He was a Dear & kind man who taught me much. Rest easy & in peace my Friend you will be missed.

I extend sincere condolences to Sarah, and Jerry´s family.
My husband, Bruce Baff was a close friend to Jerry for 43 years. I lost Bruce June 11th. We both loved Jerry, and shared so many wonderful times together. Jerry is one of the most outstanding men I have ever met, kind, compassionate, dedicated to his family, Judaism, and the LI Jewish News. I am beyond sad and will miss Jerry very much. May Jerry´s name be fora blessing.
