My son, Ben, 13, and I met Mr Wright when he was in Milwaukee on his book tour in January of 2008. What a kind man he was, talking with my son and encouraging his interest in collecting political items. Ben loves Mr Wright's book and has taken collecting political items as his favorite hobby. When Ben started a Facebook page to encourage others to collect, we tried to contact Mr Wright to invite him to join, only to hear of his passing. We are so sorry for your loss. He was a wealth of information and a very nice man. Please accept our condolences. Rachael and Ben Herrenbruck

I was shocked to hear about his passing. In the short time I worked for him at Ashlee Publishing, I can honestly say he was one of the best bosses I've ever had...truly an all around great person. Very sorry to hear about this.

I would just like to say, Thank all of you guys. For taking up your time to write on my fathers wall. Its amazing to me how fast it has happened. I'm so glad to hear how many people he has impacted. And please remember that he loved all of you and you each made an impact on him.

I guess it takes a little while for the word to drift this far south, but this news was a terrible surprise. I remember Jordan as a man filled with enthusiasm and joy, although occasionally frustrated by others' failure to embrace his optimistic world view. My sympathies are with his family.

My son and I were so saddened to read of Mr. Wright's death. His book, Campaigning For President, has been invaluable to my son, Adam. He has been collecting campaign memorabilia since he was 9 (he is now 23) and was so excited to come across Mr. Wright's book several months ago. It is always sitting out in our home. Adam uses it like a bible. We will visit the exhibition in NYC as soon as it opens. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and friends.

So sad to hear about Jordan's untimely passing. I worked for him for over five years at Ashlee Publishing as his circulation director for all his great magazines. My heart goes out to his wonderful parents, his terrific children, and to all his family. Jordan, rest in peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jordan's sudden passing. I enjoyed my time working for him at Ashlee, and considered him more of a friend than a "boss". My sympathy to his parents, children, and his entire family.

Dear Faith and Martin-It has been a long time since we have seen you and probably an even longer time since we have seen Jordan. We had just reconnected recently and we were very pleased to observe all of the success with his collection and publication. Our thoughts are with you during this very sad time. We had no idea that this had occurred and are thinking of you.

I was quite saddened to learn of Jordan's passing. I worked for him for seven years at Ashlee Publishing and learned quite a bit from him about publishing. I also enjoyed those times when I got to see his collection and enjoyed many of the stories of how he obtained many of the items.

I worked for Jordan Wright for only one year during the late '90s. I remember telling him I was planning a vacation to Hawaii. "Great!" he exclaimed. "There is an election going on, so I need you to visit the candidates' offices and grab any materials you can -- pins, bumper stickers, pamphlets -- anything!" I was happy to do it for him, because he was so excited about having more fodder for his political collection. He had a great energy that this world will miss.

I am personally shocked to hear the sad news. I saw Jordan on May 8 and he was overjoyed about his book, his upcoming exhibition at the Museum of Democracy, and his life in general. I would like to know what happened to him. I had met him recently and was interested in his work. I am so sorry for his whole family.

My mother and I were terribly saddened to read of Jordan's death. My late father, Tony Spina, who died last year, just adored Jordan and told stories of his many achievements and accomplishments to friends, family and strangers far and wide. Mom and I read the recent article about his political memorabilia collection in the New York Times with great interest and how we wish now we had dropped him a note to tell him how much we admired his exceptional talent and intellect. We are truly sorry for your heartbreaking loss. God Bless You.

Our family was saddened to learn of Jordan's untimely passing. Years ago, I worked with his father, Martin, and more closely on many happy occasions with Jordan himself on corporate event planning. My husband and I were among the fortunate who were invited to his home and personally witnessed some of his wonderful political collection. Earlier this year, we were delighted to learn of his publication and all of the wonderful events it sparked. I actually had hoped to run into him at one of the NY events.
Our sincere condolences to Martin, Faith and all of the Wright family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
