DeLEO--Joseph R., born November 24, 1938 of New York, NY, Aventura, FL and Austerlitz, NY, died at his home in New York on October 18, 2021. He was predeceased by his beloved husband, Lawrence A. Levinson, his parents and brother. He is survived by his brother- and sister-in-law, Robert and Ruth Levinson, his nieces and nephews Joy Mazur, Laura Norman, Beverly Sarachek, Gary, Karen and Paul Levinson and their children and grandchildren who adored him. To know Joe was to be loved. Plain and simple. He loved big and with gusto. He fed. He entertained. He bought gifts and showered his talents on all of those who were fortunate to be in his orbit. Joe looked out for every friend and family member as if their happiness where his reason for living. Perhaps it was. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be graveside, Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1pm, Wellwood Cemetery, 1400 Wellwood Ave., West Babylon, NY.
