Josh had a deep love for the law and for the organizations that promoted the law and attorneys.Beyond the law, he was an excellent and creative cook and a collector of fine art.

In 1963, when I was 13 years old
I expressed an interest to
Mr. Pruzansky for me to become a lawyer. Mr. Pruzansky was kind
to invite me to spend a day with
him to see what a working lawyers day was really like. That enjoyment experience stayed with me that lead me to become a lawyer. Thank you Josh, rest in peace.

Josh was a cherished neighbor when I was growing up and always provided great advice. I kept in touch with him for 40 years.

At Columbia, I only knew Josh through his NROTC buddies. However, in our post-Covid, monthly class Zoom sessions, I found him to be a warm, friendly, insightful guy. We bonded a bit over the fact that I retired to the Suffolk County area where he lived and practiced law. Rest in peace, Josh.

Joshua shared the love for his wife's mother who advised, before making a comment, to ask oneself if it is both kind and necessary. I have passed that advice on to my own family.

So sorry to hear of our loss of Josh. He was an integral and loved member of our Friday JCC discussion group and he always had witty and intelligent comments to make. He was a good friend and a kind man and I will remember him always and smile.
