STANTON--Judith Thorne. December 20, 1926 - October 9, 2025. Judith Thorne Stanton passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Fairfield, Connecticut, on October 9, 2025, at the age of 98. Born on December 20, 1926, Judith lived a life guided by deep faith, compassion, and a profound sense of spiritual purpose. She was the author of The Book of Emmanuel, a work that has touched countless lives and been published in numerous languages across the world. Through her writing, Judith shared a message of light, love, and inner peace -- one that continues to inspire readers everywhere. She was known for her vivacious spirit, her love of reading, her love of dogs, and her ability to find joy in the simple things in life. Judith's greatest pride was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was a devoted mother to her sons, James and Michael Stanton, and cherished her daughters-in-law, Nina and Kelli Stanton. Her greatest joy came from her beloved grandchildren -- Nicholas, Cris, Isabelle, Alexander, and Anna -- who filled her later years with laughter and pride. Judith will be remembered for her wisdom, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength she brought to every life she touched.
