It is really hard to believe that 8 years have slipped by since Larry's death. I still think about him and often wonder if he'll pop out from around the corner as I slip through the revolving doors of our building.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I just read about Larry in the Latest Sag-Aftra magazine... I'm so very sorry to hear that my great friend has passed on... We worked together at The Public in Christopher Walkens play "Him" Larry was brilliant, We worked together at HB Studios
Years later... Larry was a great Actor, a hilarious sense of humor and a beautiful man, I will miss him very much, we would talk and hang out every time we ran into one another, usually around 43rd and Ninth or at auditions, I considered him a true friend even though we did not see each other that often in the last couple of years, he was a great guy with a very funny take on life, and he adored his family, He spoke of them often... I'm really shocked and saddened about this news, to my good buddy Larry My prayers to you and yours as you are no doubt on the ultimate stage performing elsewhere...
All my love,
Peter a

Dear Jolly,
Just found Larry's name in the latest Equity News - a shock. We acted in 'Twelfth Night' and 'A Christmas Carol' together at The Guthrie Theatre in 1984. We had great fun. You may remember me from Terry Schreiber's acting class. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Larry always brightened my day with a story and a good laugh years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. Hell's kitchen has lost a good man and a fine talent. I am stunned today to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. God bless his family.

I worked with Larry last year at Syracuse Stage. His generous spirit and sense of humor were infectious. We laughed often. It was great to get to know him, a true artist with a deep sense of curiosity, integrity and dedication to the work. He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I was lucky enough to work on a play with Larry several years ago. He was the kind of actor you hung around the wings to watch. And offstage, I cannot recall a better, more natural raconteur. He will be missed.

We're so sad to learn of Larry's passing. We listened to Larry on the radio for many years and always looked forward to hearing him again one day. Sadly, that won't happen. Our prayers and thoughts go to Larry's family and friends. Peace and love

Larry was a great friend. Knowing him enriched my life, as it did many others. It is remarkable how many people, who never met him but heard his voice on the radio, loved him and were shaken by the news of his passing. Larry made people laugh and moved them by his soulful spirit. He made a real difference in this world. I miss him as I know others do as well.

Larry was a buddy of mine when we both found
ourselves in Germany in the army in the late '60s. Drafted, Larry made the best of it! I just happened to do a search for him this morning and saw the news. Rest in peace Larry.

To Jolie, Zach and Zoe -- My deepest sympathies over your loss -- our loss. Larry was not only a tennis buddy but an absolute "one-of-a-kind" full of storms, passion -- and love for his family. I got to see him do 'Fiddler' here where I live in OC.CA. He was swell and full of energy. I know nothing of the details of his passing. I only hope you had the opportunity for a final parting. I am so sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Larry several times. He created the role of Benny for in THE VALUE OF NAMES, and his performance set the bar high for every one who followed him. He was fierce and funny, fine company, and should have been a damn star.
