LEWIS LAWRENCE Obituary
Family and friends celebrate the life of Lewis Lawrence who died at home in New York City on June 8, 2018. He is survived by his sister Lee Lawrence Pierce of Cambridge, MA, six nephews and nieces, and 14 grandnephews and nieces. Mr. Lawrence was a graduate of Saint Bernard's School, The Groton School and Yale University. After serving In the Navy, he began his professional life with Folkard & Lawrence before embarking on a long and successful career at Merrill Lynch. "Uncle Lewie" will be greatly missed for the laughs he generated with his joy of life, critical observations, uncompromising wit, and larger-than-life personality. He thoroughly enjoyed his family and friends whom he visited frequently and cared for in so many ways large and small. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 25 at 9:30am at Saint Jean Baptist Church, 184 East 76th St.
