MADELAINE COHEN Obituary
at Mount Sinai Hospital, Friday, August 31, 2018. A lifelong New Yorker. Devoted daughter of the late Malcolm and Janet Cohen. She is survived by her loving sister Barbara Cohen (Richard Griffiths), and by her adoring children, Leslie Stein (Scott Lubarsky) and Michael Stein (Lara). Being Grandma to Zach, Shea Molly, Joshua Eli and Emilia was the joy of her life. Funeral service on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 1:00pm at "The Riverside" 180 West 76th St., New York, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the The Mount Sinai School of Medicine for the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Program, or the Malcolm S. Cohen Scholarship Fund at The Peddie School, Hightstown, NJ.

I am truly stunned and saddened to learn of Madelaine's passing. Remembering us all growing up, at 277 and CGS, it's difficult to believe that we have reached an age where life is more fragile. My heartfelt sympathy to Barbara, and to all Madelaine's family. I'm holding you all in my thoughts.

Dear Madelaine, we worked side by side for many years. We shared many personal things in our lives both happy and sad. Sorry I did not make a greater effort to come see you after I left Miller Druck. I had no idea you were ill. I still can't beleive you are gone. You will not be forgotten. Eternal Peace in heaven ... Tony
