MARIETTA ABELES-MOGAN

1920 - 2024

ABELES--MOGAN--Marietta, died at home in White Plains on March 17 at 103. Born in Vienna she was a refugee from the Holocaust, arriving gratefully in NYC in 1939. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Fred Gluck, her adored husband of 54 years Claus Abeles, her dear husband Harry Mogan and her beloved daughter Carol Glasser. Survived by her cherished family: daughter Suzy Boehm (Lincoln), grandchildren Geoff Boehm (Gabriela), Greg Boehm (Jessica), Lauren Weintraub, and Samantha Brand (Robby). She adored her great- grandchildren Jacob, Cassidy, Venus, Cayla, Brooklyn, Cole and Paige. A dynamic woman who loved family, travel, exercising, eating healthily, Campari, Schnitzel and parties, she emphatically recommended not living to 103. In her memory have a party for all your friends and donate to your favorite charity. Funeral at Riverside 76th and Amsterdam on Wednesday, March 20 at 1:00PM. Burial private.
