Angel - I'm hoping you can get my email from this page. Please contact me! I just happened to be telling your love story to a friend of mine and decided to see where you all were and found this. Hugs, Jill

RIP Mark. I first got to know Mark around 1985. Not only was Mark a fine mentor but was also a great story teller who could capture an audience in short order with wonderful anecdotes and playful dead pan humour. He traded seriously but also viewed it as an art. In my early career he helped and taught me how to "manage" a trade, creating value whether it be from a value-in-use quality perspective or from a freight and logistics angle. Dinner with Mark, be it in London, NYC, or elsewhere, was always a wonderful learning experience, he knew his way around many a fine menu and would willingly impart both his culinary and trading knowledge to his guests (and pupils) at the same time finishing the evening with his customary cigar! Thank you Mark Condolences to Angel and family.

The passing of a beloved icon in the coal industry only reached me today (Jan 26). As a member of the New York Coal Trade Association, Mark was somebody with a wealth of trading experience and generous enough to share it with people like me, who were only starting our new careers. He loved his cigars. He talked often of his family. He was quick with a smile and had eyes that showed glimpses of his brilliant trading mind. Rest in peace, my friend and thanks for the fond memories!
