MARK KORMAN

KORMAN--Mark Stewart, Mark Stewart Korman, age 88, passed away on April 21, 2025. Mark was born in NY February 25, 1937. A 1958 Graduate of NYU, he served in the Army Reserve and worked as a talent manager, getting his start with a bevy of Catskill comedians. A dedicated Upper Westsider and Fire Islander, Mark was known for his generosity, kindness, and sharp wit. He loved talking to people, cooking for people, and enjoying "one more sliver" of Grossinger's Praline Ice Cream Cake. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Helene Korman, his nieces, Joanna Korman and Melissa Di Rienzo; his great-nephews Ethan and Noah, and those he loved as family: Fern Guior; Danielle, Kevin, Elise, and Andrew Bussolini. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Cele, and his brother, Elliott Korman.
