Mark was an amazing leader at Fidelis. He was well respected. Extremely knowledgeable of who the plan was and where it was headed. He led us to greatness. He is deeply missed in a professional and personal level. May his family continue to celebrate his life and treasure all the great moments shared. I have never met a leader with such love for health care. Honored to have crossed paths and worked with you for 17 years. Rest in Peace Mark.

It is with heavy heart and profound sadness that I learned of Mark's passing. The many years we worked together at CMC and Fidelis will always be cherished memories of an extraordinary, dedicated man who touched many lives in such positive ways. He afforded me many opportunities for growth, his expectations exceedingly high and always with a firm belief in my knowledge and capabilities. His work ethic was without boundaries. My heartfelt condolences to Mark's family and loved ones at this time of great sadness and sorrow. May all your beautiful memories of Mark help comfort you, and time and prayer ease the aching pain. Thank you Mark for sharing your oh so short life with those who admired and respected you. I was blessed and privileged to have known you. Rest in Peace.

Mr. Lane lived the Fidelis Care mission everyday by leading by example. He
was polite, kind, respectful and considerate. He never let the title of CEO
get in the way of his first and foremost being a caring human being. He
knew his employees by name and in many cases the names of our family
members. I joined Fidelis Care because of its values and Mr. Lane
exemplified that. I had the great fortune to meet Mr. Lane after being with
Fidelis Care less than one month. He knew my name, the company that I had
come from, and several other things about me! I was instantly impressed!
From that point on, whenever I saw him he would address me by my first
name and inquire as to how my wife Marie (remembering her name, too) and
our children were.
It was never about him, but always about Fidelis Care and its employees. He
had a great sense of humor and was always forthcoming with the employees.
I will personally miss him and his leadership. As a company we have been
left with a tremendous void. However, Fidelis Care will shoulder on and
continue to give our best effort every day as he would want us to, all of
us having been better off for knowing him and for having him serve as our
CEO. May he rest in eternal peace.
With my deepest and sincerest sympathies to the Lane family.

Respectfully,

Carl Garofolo, Jr.

I worked with Mark at St. Peter's Hospital for a number of years. He kept our Mission before him, and brought a sense of humor to our work. I am glad I had the opportunity to know him and to connect occasionally in the years following, I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death. His legacy will long be remembered in his work with Fidelis. Please know that I pray for the comfort of your family, Robyn
