MARK PARDO Obituary

PARDO--Mark E.

The partners and staff of Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP, Customs and International Trade attorneys, mourn the untimely passing at age 51 of their partner, colleague and friend, Mark E. Pardo, on May 23, 2017. Mark, who served with the firm his entire legal career, first as an associate attorney and then as partner, was comanaging partner of the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University, and his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University. Mark was an accomplished International Trade attorney, and practiced regularly before the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, United States Court of International Trade, and United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, representing the interests of foreign clients in antidumping, countervailing duty, and other trade-related actions. He was uniformly recognized by allies and adversaries alike in the International Trade Bar as an honest, acutely intelligent, formidable colleague, who put his heart and soul into each and every matter he handled. We extend our sincerest condolences to his beloved wife, Debbie, his loving son, Matthew, his devoted father, Joseph, his brother, Stephen and the rest of the Pardo family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. Mark was a very special individual, and he will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held on July 14, 2017 at 2pm at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, 1500 North Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA.
