Marty is was never dull and frankly always enjoyable to work with you those 4 years of the Giuliani Administration. We had a great boss in Fran Reiter
Imagine if all the places in the world we´d run into each other in London. It´s a memory Maggie and I still cherish. You are so very missed my friend.

Marty and I worked in the Giuliani Administration together. He was a truly kind and sweet man. My wife adored him as well. We shared a love of theater together and attended several Broadway musicals together and even one in London when my wife and I ran into him totally by accident.
He was one of the smartest activists and political thinkers I´ve ever known. He cared about humanity and Justice. I never heard anyone say an unkind word about Marty even when they disagreed.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Marty was a mensch. When I was president of LCR NYC, he was a source of infinite wisdom and assistance. It was an honor to know him..

Marty and I met in January 1983 when he assisted us in forming a tenant’s association in my building. We became great friends then and remained great friends for the past forty years.

Marty will always be remembered and the world is a much better place because he was here.

Thank you Marty for friendship, for your leadership in the citywide hotel tenants' coalition, for your constant civic involvement, for introducing me to City Center Encores, and for your invitation to Gracie Mansion where I met Celeste Holm to talk about All About Eve!

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Marty in the mid 1970's. I hired him to work at the East Side Club as a "towel boy". I we shared a quick wit and sense of humor and enjoyed hanging out together. Sadly, we lost contact even though we only lived 2 blocks away. Again, sorry for your loss.
