TOBIN--Dr. Mary L., 68, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed peacefully on March 24, 2022 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. Born in 1953, Mary married her high school sweetheart, Tom, after 11 years of dating. Mary was surrounded by love and is survived by her husband; her two sons, Tommy John and Jimmy Paul; her daughter-in-law Adriana; and her beloved puppy. Mary is remembered for her kind spirit and positive influence on the lives of others. Before her passing, she said, "I have lived a wonderful life, and I love my family."

Dr. Tobin was a very special person who blessed many with her loving and compassionate nature. I miss her dearly, she helped me during trying times. Dr. Tobin may you rest in peace.

Dr. Tobin was my doctor for about 6 years. I was a mess when I first saw her.
I had gotten off my meds and went into a manic state. And needed help.
A friend of mine told her about my situation and that I was really struggling. The next day I saw her in her office. She got me back on a routine and kept check on me and I haven't had a bad day since. I never had to call her for anything. She called and checked on me all the time.
She was such a Wonderful Soul. I loved her dearly because she helped me when I needed it most. And she kept tabs on me until she passed.
I will miss seeing and talking to her for sure. She was and had a special way about her.

The life that Mrs. Tobin lived and the way she touched hearts will always be remembered!
Even in this time of grief` may her memory carry you on to brighter days.
Your wife/mother was loved and respected by us and our daughter. She really helped our daughter through some difficult times. Pre-Covid, Mrs. Tobin would always give her a hug and a smile at the end of their office visit. That is not something you normally receive after a medical visit! We realize this is late, but we were not notified
until an appointment was cancelled. For that
we are deeply sorry. Mrs. Tobin will be dearly
missed! Her presence was a light and the world will be darker without her. We wish you only fond memories and a smile when you think of your wife/mother.

I just found out today about Mary´s passing. I have known Mary for 30 years and loves her so much. She was much more than a therapist she was a dear friend to me. She talked so much about her sons, they were her pride and joy along with her husband! I will never forget her or the help she has given me through all those years. Dr. Mary Tobin, came into my life at one of the lowest points of my life. As one of her patients, she treated me with respect and love. She was so reassuring and caring. I will not be able to replace that beautiful and encouraging smile. My appointments with her were a highlight to me while dealing with a very difficult situation. Dr. Mary Tobin will be missed by myself and I am sure many others. My deepest sympathies go out to her family. I will always remember her in a loving way!
