MATTHEW SABATINE

SABATINE--Matthew Philip. Died on June 4, 2025. Funeral Private. Matthew leaves behind his adored wife Natalie (Lee), and his beloved son Marc, a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, of whom he was so very proud, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and grandchildren Matthew and Natalie. He was the founder and president of S&C Products Corp., a construction company specializing in aluminum and glass, which faced many of the buildings in New York City. Matt was especially proud of doing the two sloping glass walls for the wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art that houses the Temple of Dendur exhibit. He was a member of the Columbus Citizens Foundation, on whose board he served for sixteen years. He headed a number of committees and cherished and enjoyed the friendship of his fellow members. As a philanthropist, he founded and served as president of the Sabatine Foundation, a solely and privately funded organization which supported medical research and care. Matt was a generous, caring and honorable man who was respected and loved by all. He lived a full and wonderful life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, he is now with God.
