MAX REIS

REIS--Dr. Max Walter. The officers, board and staff of the American Technion Society (ATS) mourn the passing of Dr. Max Walter Reis, who served as the President of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology from 1986 through 1990. He was also a member of the Technion International Board of Governors and a vice chairman from 1984 through 1986. A leader in Israeli industry, science and technology, Dr. Reis was a director at Oridion Systems Ltd., and at B. Gaon Holdings Ltd., and a member of the Advisory Board of Catalyst Investments L.P. Prior to his presidency, he served as senior vice president of Israel Chemicals Ltd., board member of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, chairman of PAMA, and chairman of Israel Desalination Industries.
