MELISSA BANCROFT Obituary

BANCROFT--Melissa "Missy" (Weston). Melissa "Missy" (Weston) Bancroft of Locust Valley, died peacefully on November 21st, 2023, surrounded by family. She was 94 years old, born in New York City on September 19th, 1929. She is survived by her four children and their loving spouses, three stepchildren, eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Missy lived a full and often glamorous, happy life growing up in Southampton, NY and New York City and settling in Locust Valley, NY. She was a model, actress and real estate broker, but most importantly a loving mother. She enjoyed nature, swimming, horseback riding, playing tennis and bridge with her friends. She was a force of nature and brought laughter, cheerfulness and love to every room she entered and every person she met. Missy dedicated her life to her extensive family which was her joy and her passion. Her interment will be private.
