I met Dr Ferin when I was hired as a research associate in his lab. Michel was an intelligent, soft-spoken, gentle human who loved his classical music! While I was there everyone in the lab enjoyed working with Dr. Ferin who was very pleasant and inclusive. He encouraged everyone to be an author. I didn't quite fit the mold of his typical associate but he was very open to different points of view. I'm proud to say he was a positive influence on my life! Rest in peace my friend, Michel!

I was heartbroken when I found out Dr.. Ferin passed away.. Thank you Dr. Ferin for being my mentor in work and life. He taught me everything I learned in the lab and after 30 years I became the supervisor thanks to everything he taught me. He also guided me through my own life with his wise words and advice he helped me change into the person I wanted to be. He always told me what I needed to hear with so much kindness. There are not a lot of people who take the time to get to know you and care about you in this world but Dr. Ferin took the time for me. I send my deepest condolences to the family. I will never forget you Dr. Ferin for your contribution to Endocrinology has changed the world and your presence in my life changed my own little world. To many you are known as wonderful doctor/scientist and a pioneer in the field of IVF and endocrinology but to me you were simply the best boss in the world.
