MIRIAM FORMAN

FORMAN--Miriam, (1936-2025) was a clinical psychologist who was active for years in the NY Freudian Society. She obtained her Ph.D. while raising three sons as a single mother, maintained a private practice and treated medical students at her alma mater Columbia University. An amateur pianist, she loved classical music and performed at Kinhaven. Born to Yiddish writer/educator Solomon Simon and Lena Simon, she was a proud secular Jew and an avid Yiddish reader and speaker. Mimi delighted in and was devoted to her family, which includes three sons, three daughters-in-law, four step-children, seven grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. In addition, she leaves her beloved husband of 25 years, John Koller, and many dear friends.
