For the past 35 years until my recent retirement, Dr.Morton Bosniak was a colleague, a patient, and a friend. It is with great sadness I just learned of his passing. He commonly would come to my office to review CT and MRI scans and provide valuable counsel regarding diagnosis and management of complex medical problems.
In the past couple of years, his health deteriorated, but he always maintained a wonderful demeanor and expressed a desire to review scans from the comfort of his home.
Morton Bosniak had an extraordinary career and will be greatly missed by his many students, friends, and colleagues of which I am a member of all.
To Tommie and all of Mort's family, I extend my deepest sympathies and feel your loss. Richard Gilbert, M.D.

In the truest sense of the words, Mort was a gentleman and a scholar and on a personal note, he unselfishly gave of his time and expertise to advise me how to prolong my life.
I will always remember him.

Mort, along with his wife Tommie, was a beloved neighbor of ours in Ct. in the CLC Lake Club. He was first of all a decent man and most importantly a kind man to us and a cherished member of our little community.May the Lord God have mercy on his soul and may he rest in the Bosom of Abraham.

Mort Bosniak: truly one of a kind. He was a brilliant, dynamic teacher. Mort was held in awe by all of his many resident physicians, and I will be forever grateful that I was lucky enough to have been one of those he taught.
