MURRAY GREISMAN

GREISMAN--Murray, 88, died gracefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 4th. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly Greisman, and is survived by his sons Alan, Gordon, and Harold, his brother Jerome, and his grandchildren Sam, Chloe, Nicholas and Michael. He was a kind, loving and deeply thoughtful man. More than that, he was courageous. Serving in the Pacific during World War II, he was awarded the bronze star, and earned 10 battle stars signifying combat in 10 major naval engagements. He faced the end of his life with similar bravery. He lived with a quiet dignity, and died with an equal measure of it. The family wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Los Angeles, and the V.A. hospice facility in North Hills, California.
