UJA-Federation of New York mourns with deep sadness the passing of Nancy Perlman, the beloved wife of Tom Klingenstein and daughter-in- law of John and Patricia Klingenstein. Nancy's legacy of helping others will continue through her family's unwavering commitment to the Jewish community. I will terribly miss my beautiful cousin, Nancy: her perfect skin which I was so envious of, the sparkle in her clear eyes, her voice, her laugh, her spunky spirit. She was always so attentive and always questioning whatever I had to say!! She always had a different spin on things. I will miss the love she had for family. And, I will continue to love her in my heart. I send my sympathy to Tom, Anna, Sophie, Julie and all of the Perlman-Klingenstein family. The Ingber family suffers, too. Nancy was truly a remarkable woman and will be sorely missed by all. My memories of her in Ann Arbor and Tucson will always be fondly remembered. Her accomplishments were so impressive, and the impact she had on so many lives is priceless. Vicki and I will always cherish the times we were able to spend with her. Our hearts go out to Tom, Anna Rose and Sophie.

I remember with love Nancy of the incandescent smile with a spirit to match. Tom, Anna, Sophie, Julie and family...my heart joins with all of you in sadness at the passing from the earth of Nancys bright, brave light. I am imagining David and Ruth welcoming her with Nate on the sidelines giving advice. You are not aware of being led but when you look back you see how far she has taken you. And what is more, you see that she has prepared you to go on without her.
After reading Her many accomplishments and having had the pleasure of meeting Nancy through friendship with Anna Rose, more perfect words could not be said in her memory.
