NAOMI FRIEDLAND-WECHSLER Obituary

FRIEDLAND-WECHSLER-- Naomi. Congregation Or Zarua mourns the death in Israel of Naomi Friedland-Wechsler, beloved wife of our Rabbi Emeritus, Dr. Harlan J. Wechsler. Always at his side since our founding, she was a woman of outstanding erudition, grace and elegance. A graduate of Radcliffe College and Columbia Law School, she practiced financial services law and later became a highly-valued advisor and appraiser of fine and decorative arts. She read extensively and had keen insights into both Jewish and secular literature. Devoted Ima to Rabbi Ezra and Malka Chana Amichai, and Chana Dror, and loving Savta of five. May the One who consoles the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem bring comfort to her family. Scott N. Bolton, Rabbi Isaac Nagiel, President
