I worked with Naomi at Crown Publishers in the late 1950s, back when I was a fledgling copy editor and she was Herb Michelman's assistant. I'm so glad I happened to see the notice in the NY Times this morning, giving me the chance to express my sympathy and offer best wishes to her family. Her warm and ebullient personality made working with her a pleasure, and I'm so glad to have known her.
