"Uncle" Sperie and "Aunt" Nikki. I will miss you very much! Sperie: your trademark smile, your relentless commitment to mastering the computer. I remember being so impressed that you could e-mail and surf the web like a pro. You would call me up with such pride, telling me you emailed an old Yale classmate and reconnected. I miss hitting golf balls with you in the backyard. I could tell from your perfect tempo and crisp contact that you were quite the golfing stud back in the day. Nikki, I always sprinted up your driveway when you invited me over for a meal. I will miss helping you dig out your rollercoaster of a driveway on snow days when the plow didn't come. The reward of your hot cocoa was all the motivation I needed to keep shoveling. You would always lovingly pester me about girls, which college I wanted to go to, what I wanted to study. You helped me edit my first video project in college. It saddens me that we lost touch over the years when my family moved. I tried to surprise you both when I came back to CT i for a visit. Unfortunately, you were out of town, and the lights weren't flickering at the Racebrook Rd. Pagoda House that night. Its crazy to think that you all were just a phone call away all these years, but only now I wish I could talk to you all one last time. Thank you for shaping me into who I am today. Will always remember our times together fondly. Rest easy!

Niki and Sperie were our family friends since I was a very young child. Always kind, gentle, and very caring. They will always be in my heart, especially Niki. She was so dear to me, she always cared about me, and was always there to listen when I needed a friend to talk to. I am heartbroken and shocked at the news of their passing so long after the factso amazing that even now they could never have beared to be without each other, they were the epitome of love stories...they will truly be missed, may God rest their gentle souls, and may their memory be forever eternalā¤
