He attended CCNY, Brooklyn College (BA, MA (School Psychology), Advanced Certificate (Guidance and Counseling). Baseball enthusiast (strongly influenced by Jackie Robinson), traveling, cooking/social gatherings, supporter of the theater/performing arts [Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Harlem School of the Arts, reading, crossword puzzles, cinephile, classical/ contemporary music (impressive collection). Survived by family and loved by deceased, including Jacqueline Haddocks, cousin (Daytona Beach, Florida); Anna Simpson Floyd, Aunt, deceased, (Harlem, New York); Fred Floyd, Uncle, deceased, (Harlem, New York); Tom Floyd, cousin, deceased, (Harlem, New York); Margaret Ellis Floyd, cousin, (Marietta, Georgia); Jackie Haddocks' family members, Joy Haddocks James, daughter, (Boynton Beach, Florida); Adrian Norman Haddocks, son, (Daytona Beach, Florida); Charlotte Cornell Haddocks, daughter, (Coral Springs, Florida); Norman lived a rich and productive life reflecting an engaging intellect and humor, and a generosity of heart and spirit. I did not know Norman, but My grandfather always talked about a group of friends that would frequent the Jazz Club. Found this old Army photo of him next to Norman, and found this Obituary while looking for information. May he rest in peace!
