NORMAN SANDERS

SANDERS--Norman. Norman Sanders passed away peacefully on 3 November 2021. Born in 1927, Norman was president of the Sanders Printing Corporation; esteemed professor in the School of Art at The Cooper Union for over 40 years; author of books on photography and graphic design; inventor; and a recognized artist of photographic works. His family, the faculty and alumni of Cooper Union, and his global network have lost a caring patriarch and mentor who combined a genuine inquisitive nature, humor, quick wit, and tireless devotion to all those in his life. He is survived by Jonas (his bride), three children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts be made to the Norman Sanders Students Fund at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
