LEWIS--Pamela Leach. Pamela Louine Leach Lewis, 81, of New York City -- A brilliant light, trusted humanitarian, trailblazing attorney and mother to Christine and Nicole Lewis, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on October 31, 2025. "Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens" she was the beloved daughter of Pearl and Gerald Leach, sister of Leslie Leach and devoted wife of the late Dr. Leslie Arthur Lewis (deceased April 14, 2024). A graduate of Hunter College High School, Wellesley College, Columbia Law School, NYU School of Law and the Sorbonne in Paris, France (Certificate in Law and Economics), Pamela served as Assoc. General Counsel at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Corporate Counsel at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley, and McCloy, American Express Co., The NYSE, and Con Edison. In public and nonprofit leadership, she served as Trustee of Wellesley College, Board Member of The FederaEon of Protestant Welfare Agencies, Inc. and The United Way of NYC, as well as Governor Appointed Founding Trustee of the Interest on Lawyer Account Fund.
