PATRICIA WEIS Obituary

WEIS--Patricia Ross. The Bard College community mourns the passing of Patricia Ross Weis '52, a loyal alumna, friend, and trustee, since 1986, of Bard. Pat Weis pursued her philanthropy together with her late husband Robert F. Weis to the benefit of the commu- nities in which she lived, in Sunbury, PA, and New York City. Pat and Bob were patrons of education, the arts, and the Jewish community. At Bard, Pat supported scholarships, programs, capital projects, and an endowed professorship. Her warmth, dedication, and integrity will be greatly missed. We extend our deepest condolences to her entire family, particularly her three children and nine grandchildren. James C. Chambers '81 Chair, The Board of Trustees Leon Botstein, President

Mrs. Weis and her Husband Robert were both wonderful people. My late husband, John was their Chauffeur for many years and he always spoke how they were both such good people. May they rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the Weis Family ( Jennifer, Jonathan and Colleen and their spouses and children). I always enjoyed Robert and Patricia and the many trips in the company aircraft. In your families time of grieving find comfort that your mother now is in her eternal home with Robert. Blessings to all of you as you go through this mourning process.
