I have many strong memories of my Aunt Pearl going back to when I was 5 years old (when we lived down the street on Hillturn Lane) and earlier (thanks to the old photos), and I know that she will always stay with me. She always kept (or restored) order in the house when we boys were "being boys," and for me she was always a model of stability (as was Uncle Danny). I always admired her for her down-to-earthiness, her wisdom, her intellect, her humor, her way of making me feel at home, all done with her own particular dignity and warmth. I will also always remember the vivid scenes around the family dinner table, in the back porch, and that incredible back yard! There's so much more to say, which I will probably think of later. For now, I can only express the love I feel for her and all of you.
