PETER STEARNS

STEARNS--Peter Cudahy. Peter Cudahy Stearns passed away in his home in Montecito, CA on September 5 due to renal and heart failure. Peter was born in New York City on Dec. 12, 1932, the son of John Noble Stearns and Alice Cudahy Stearns. Peter was raised in Long Island, attended Greenvale School, St. Paul's School and graduated from Yale in 1956. He spent two years in the Army Artillery before returning to New York and the financial world as a technology analyst. Along the way, he developed a love of emerging young artists and consequently opened two art galleries. He loved the West, loved traveling, loved sports, and loved his many friends. He is survived by his wife, Cordelia, and a son, John. There will be celebrations of his life in both Montecito and New York.
