An older brother, Carl, predeceased him. A funeral mass will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in New York on Tuesday, May 10 at 10:00am. I always looked forward to Richard's visits to Montana. He was gracious, thoughtful, good company, ready to enjoy the day.
It's sad to lose him. My condolences to Ellen, children and all the family.

I will raise a glass of whisky on Tuesday and toast Rich's impeccable sartorial taste (he once gifted me a tie (which I still have) with which I felt anointed), his pugilistic nature (his words not mine), his BBQ skills - even on the smallest of improvised grills at the pink mews in Chelsea - and his outstretched hand that I always could count on at even the most difficult times of being an associate. I am so very sad he is no longer with us.

With the best memories, and heartfelt condolences, much love to Ellen and family.
