Robert Farber Obituary

Robert Joe Farber Robert Farber, age 71, beloved husband to wife Irma, fath er to Michael, John and Paul and grandfather to Nicholas, passed away in peace on July 11, 2006. He was born on May 1, 1935 in Onawa, Iowa. He was employed for 37 years at American Can Company. He loved the game of golf and cherished his weekly golf times with Lyle and friends. He never knew a person that didn't call him "friend". He will be missed by all who knew him as family and friend. Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irma; son, Michael; grandson, Nicholas; brothers, Lyle Farber; and sister, Mary Jane Chavez. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 11 am at Stricklin Snively Mortuary, 1952 Long Beach Blvd. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be by made to Memorial Medical Center Foundation, 2801 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, CA 90806, designated to Respiratory Care.
