ROBERT STERN

STERN--Robert A.M. My wife and I were one of Bob's earliest, if not the first, clients when we chose him to renovate our 1904 Park Avenue apartment in 1970. At that time, he operated from the second floor of a brownstone on West 72 St. Once again in 1980, we chose him to renovate and restore our 1894 home in East Hampton. We became friends above all. His design and mood setting have not aged 55 years later. He left some traditional Bob Stern signature items like indoor columns but he also left the Bob Stern touch.
