I worked for Robert in Knightsbridge back in the 90s. He was an amazing character, both charming and a bit larger than life.. His trading strategies were the most aggressive I've ever come across. I remember a dinner in the Atlantic Bar & Grill where he ordered a bottle of Petrus 1990. What a fun evening we had! Lost contact with Rober later in life but never forgot him.

I knew Robert from when I was 17 years old and he was living in Richmond UK. I have such fond memories from his early days, seeing him in his pinstripe suit in Magnums wine bar. We became close friends and despite losing touch for a number of years when we reunited he still had his boyish charm and the cheeky mischievous glint in his eye. He was kind and generous warm and funny. Namaste my friend.

RIP my dearest best friend, you will be so sadly missed, especially by me. I will always remember your amazing generosity and kind heart and there is a big void where you used to be. Angie Taylor

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. Losing a loved one can be extremely hard. May you find peace and comfort in knowing the fact that God longs to bring back those who are in His memory and to see them live on earth again. Job 11 : 14 , 15
