MEMORIES & CONDOLENCES
JUST HEARD OF HIS PASSING. MANY YEARS AGO, I HAD THE PLEASURE AND HONOR OF WORKING WITH HIM AT THE WHITNEY. AS A VERY JUNIOR STUDENT OF ART HISTORY, HE GAVE ME THE,OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH HIM ON A MULTI-SLIDE SHOW WHICH EXHIBITED CONTEMPORARY ARTIST. AS HIS PRODUCTION ASSISTANT, I LEARNED MUCH; AND IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. RUSSELL WAS A KIND AND GIVING PERSON. HE SHARED HIS LOVE AND PASSION OF ART; AND INSTILLED IT TO ALL AROUND, IN PARTICULAR, TARGETING HE SHARED PROJECTS WITH. I ADMIRED AND RESPECTED HIM ENORMOUSLY. I'D LIKE TO BELIEVE, HE HAS ADDED A TOUCH OF HIS COLIRFUL MIND TO THE HEAVENS. THANK YOU RUSSELL!

Dear, dear friend. I hope you find Sherrie on the other side, and when I follow I hope to join you both with toasts of frozen vodka like so many time before. Bon voyage, power to the people, and let the good times roll. ONWARD and LOVE for K, of S&K - who you painted :)
